7 Things

1. I am a storyteller. Although I have concentrated the last few years on the directing side, I began my journey as an actor, which I feel is part of my strength as a director — I know the actor language.

2. I have a nickname — the soulreader.

3. I love to inspire, collaborate, share my knowledge. To me generousity is the key. I love to give back.

4. I have worked with Academy Award, Golden Globe, SAG, César and Goya Award winners. I’m working on building that list.

5. My biggest influences are Tennessee Williams, Ingmar Bergman, Sam Shepard, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Jeff Buckley, and Terrence Malik.

6. Wine. Rioja. Brunello. Bordeaux. Burgundy. Barolo. Barbaresco. In no particular order. Emphasis on age. Gifts accepted.

7. I am insane for Flamenco. Insane. It represents what I feel in my soul about life. It’s the Duende.
